Text South Nassau Physical Therapy

South Nassau Physical Therapy, P.C. offers text messaging to patients and prospective patients who ask for it. Texting is optional. You choose whether to use it, and you can stop at any time.

How you can sign up

You may be invited to sign up for text messages in any of these places:

  • On our website a link in the footer of every page leads to this page.
  • On your new-patient intake form, there is a checkbox asking whether you would like to receive text messages from us.

Signing up is always something you do yourself. We do not add anyone to text messaging automatically, and we do not text people who have not asked us to.

To sign up from your own phone: text the word START to (516) 307-0545. You will receive a confirmation message.

If you filled out a new-patient intake form and checked the box asking for text messages, you have already signed up and do not need to text START. You can still reply STOP at any time.

What you are agreeing to

By texting START to (516) 307-0545, you consent to receive SMS text messages from South Nassau Physical Therapy regarding:

  • Appointment scheduling
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Responses to questions you send us
  • Other patient-service or administrative communications

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.

Message frequency and cost

Message frequency varies based on your appointments and on messages you send us. Message and data rates may apply. These are charged by your mobile carrier, not by us.

Getting help and stopping messages

Reply HELP to any message for help, or call us at (516) 307-9166.

Reply STOP to any message to cancel at any time. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and we will not text you again unless you sign up again.

Your choices and your privacy

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of receiving treatment or purchasing any service from South Nassau Physical Therapy. If you prefer that we contact you by phone, email, or mail instead, tell us and we will.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. SMS opt-in data and consent are never sold, shared, or transferred to another organization for that organization’s marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messages are not a secure channel and are not the place for detailed medical information. We keep the content of our texts general. Please do not send sensitive health details by text, and never use text messaging for an emergency. In the event of an emergency call 911.
